    Holy rod racks Batman!!!! That's an amazing piece of engineering. I assume the base is welded or attached with sheet metal screws; wonder how that would work in fiberglass.

    The floor base bracket has 4 screws to fasten.
    The rod rack slides into the base bracket and has a 5/16 hex bolt to tighten. Easy to remove after you remove the rods.
    It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

    This is what I use on my 17' Carolina Skiff, I have rails that I mount these on. I have the offset type.

    Now there's an idea. I too have a Carolina Skiff and I had not thought about adding rails. I think I have found that hole in the lake where boaters throw their money.
