My Luck
Can I pick'm or what, taking Thursday off to pre-fish for our club crappie tourney on Murray this weekend. Winds only gonna blow @ 20 to 25 mph, all day.Guess I want need the trolling motor tomorrow.

Wow what a difference in the weather. Don and I fished Murray Monday and it was absolutely dead calm most of the day.
3 of us booked Brad Taylor to show us how he fished Murray for Shellcrackers. It was in March/April time frame and the wind blew 15-25 all day. He could not fish many of the points he wanted to try. This time of year there's no telling from one day to the next.
Find some sheltered coves and good luck.

Ray some of the best spots I've found has been because of the windy conditions I've had to fish through, I got a plan B if I can't long line, but maybe the weatherman will miss the wind or it'll lay mid-morning.
