    Brett, I believe that if you look in very deep water and tight line at a very slow speed .01 to 02.. Use heavy weight 3/4 to 1 oz. you may be surprised. Your line should not be more than 45° angle at any time. Use drop shot rig with hook above your lead 12" to 18" just bump the bottom and you should be in good shape and catching fish. I hope this helps you, it works for us most of the time. Only answer I can give you!

    Now you tell me how it is done ! brett , The Dawgg speaks the truth this time. 35 to 50 fow aint to deep for ya. Seen the aftermath just Thursday from a buddy. Fished tightline in 40 fow and had 15 real nice fish.

    I were in 35-50' today
    Floating anonymously among other boats and with bait under me
    Bumping bottom w 3/4 oz weight
    Weight on bottom 2 hooks above
    I didn't see catching
