Thread: Awful quiet

Woke up to ice covering everything , sleet from 8 to 845 about 9 it started snow. Not heavy yet, small flakes so far. I hope this is gone by morning.
Stay safe if you go out today, I don't think they salt the ramps

Nothing here, shouldve gone fishing. Instead smoked cured pork belly into bacon last night, making smoked baby back ribs tonight.

Spoke to early! Snowing hard now.

6 inches + and still coming down here. Going to check the roads soon and see how bad they are, maybe I can get the boat out by monday and go fishing, Can't do anything else.........

Finally we got some snow flurries. Not going to stick but at least we saw SNOW!

We received less than what they called for, maybe one inch but it is different all over the upstate.
I made a run to the post office this morning to send out some orders and the roads looked fine but the bridge over Saluda was iced over and slick.

A good bit of rain and then.....NO ICE OR SNOW! Come on warmer weather cause it's been "frigid" cold (as the weatherman says). Ha!
