    Default Secession question

I really liked my couple of trips to Secession and have been waiting for the water to clear up a bit to go back. I've heard you local guys talk about how bad it is to fish when all the water lice get on the lake and I can see why since it is a narrow lake.
About what time does it get that way? I want to make a couple of trips up but don't want to wait too long.
    Thanks.

Anytime between now and April 1st will be best! We are catchin fish now down the lake and they are widely scattered. In the next couple of week the fish will move above the bridge in the river and prepare for the spawn. It will be crowded but will also be worth the trouble. Typically there is a bass tourney every weekend so plan on getting there before daylight if you want a parking spot. I recommend fishing during the week if that is a option!

I don't fish on the weekends. When I finally got to retire I decided I would leave the lakes and golf courses to the folks that can't go any other time. Thanks for the update, I may get up there in the next couple of weeks but will hit it in April as well.
You said above the bridge which I assume is where the landing is located. I've never fished above the bridge, the whole lake looks like a river to me.

Yes above the landing. Sorry, I should have been more specific. It pretty much is all river. The lake does have bigger water near the dam but I rarely ever fish that far down. All in all it is my "go to" lake in the spring.
