1st we need to find out if we need a pemit or permission to drop the piles then we can start forming an action plan.
I think John has an idea who to call.
Once we know that we can plan a meeting to figure out the next steps to take

Checked with DNR. As long as you dont put piles in or on state fish attracting areas it is of to place them in Wylie.
I can help in this project, just tell me what to do. Also I know all of Brettw's brush piles so I know where not to put the new ones.
"Smiles don't leave a lake without one.""White Perch the other white meat."
"CK the Official Tester of floating nets".
Dont know on that one. Anyone got connections at Duke that can ask? Dont think there is any restrictions on em. To many folks have dropped in Christmas trees and other brush and never heard of any problems.
I agree that many people drop trees a few at a time. It sounds like we'll have a couple boat loads, that might draw unwanted attention.
I just don't want to do the work then get a ticket and have to pay to dump them at Ron's.
I know a guy that works at the Catawba plant I'll see I he can direct me to the right person.
Anyone else chime in he may not work out
I think you'll worry to much like my mother in-law. As long as you don't drop them in the nuclear water intake side ( which you can't get close to anyway) you will be okay! Brush have been put in for years on Wylie from the Ebenezer and Big Allison ramps. Don't put them where people swim around docks or block the boat house's you'll be fine not fined. Be happy don't worry. Let's get it going. Let's meet at T bones on Hwy 49 and let's git er done!![]()
