Lake Murray Conditions?

Hey guys...Suppose to be coming down to Murray Sat. and was wondering what the water conditions are like on the upper part of the lake. Im sure all this rain were getting is gonna muddy it up a little bit. Thanks to everyone in advance for all the info.

Be careful, the water is pretty low. They have been running a lot of water down the rivers lately. Water level is 355.91, full pond 360. Water temp is 60.5. The rain so far has been light. I don't think we're gonna get enough to change the water color. Let us know how you do.

Thanks Thumper. I live up near Charlotte and it has been raining pretty good since early this morning with some pretty heavy downpours every so often. I just assumed it had been doing the same down there. Hopefully it won't be to bad.

I lived in Clover and worked in Charlotte. Retired now and living on Murray. They calling for showers off and on most of the night. It takes a lot of rain to mess this big old lake up.

Depending on where Murray's water comes from....I just poured 2.7" out of my rain guage from last nite and today.

Yep, we got dumped on for 12 hours northeast of Murray...

had to take "Sweetie" to two dr. appts today and was out in it all day
rained on me from time I got started till I got home. with several sight blocking down pores
and steady rain rest of the day. don't know how many inches but im sure it will change color
of Wylie and Wateree

The Big Saluda is still pretty murky. The upstate heavy rain will probably keep it that way as it comes down river.
The water starts looking better around Newberry Shores area and even better around Elbow Bend. The Little Saluda looks good. Hope you do well.

The swamp was still draining Tuesday when I was down there. It was still coming over the bank up in the swanmp. Although the water in the river is 1.5 feet below flood stage. It takes a while for the swamp to drain down to normal after all the water it has seen.
