I haven't posted much here of late mainly because there's little interest other than Wylie for the most part, but I've been fishing and catching plenty. I've been spending time at both the Cooper River and lake Wateree. I've been using the same technique at both places, pushing minnow tipped jigs in a variety of colors in 18 to 26 feet of water. The bite is sporadic at both places, steady bites for thirty minutes, nothing the next thirty. As long as you are patient you will be rewarded with a nice limit of crappie. I haven't been taking many pics, but here's a box shot of this weeks trips.

It is good to hear you are still after them Timmy. Been seeing other reports about like your report in that you have to spend a little more time to catch a good mess. Thanks for the report and pic.

Good to hear from you Tim. I figured you were catching then somewhere. How about pull the drain plug at Santee. I wanted to bring my Grandson down to camp in Broadwater with Mr. Cromer after Christmas, but the water has been way too high, and more rain today!!
