    Default Ulterra operator problem

The wife and I hit Cane Creek NC this morning, as I'm dropping the boat in the water she says, don't you want to put a rope on it...Of course I said no.
I jumped out of the truck and hit deploy, motor got 1/2 way up and stopped ut oh. I stowed it and tried again a couple times. Then it shows a fault...duh yes it wasn't deploying by now the boat is a long swim out, luckily the wind was blowing it toward the dock.
The point of the post is, make sure the extra transponder wire isn't hooked on anything. The motor deployed as far as it could the wire stooped it.
I now have a velcro strip to tie the wire up near the head so that won't happen agin.
Just one more thing to add to the check list before the boat goes in the water.
The fishing report was as good as the launch, zero, zip nada not even a pull down. Just pulled jigs for 4 hours. Beautiful day on the water.
Cutbait promised I'd catch my limit next time jigging
