Those who went last Saturday will remember the water color that night. I filled my bait tank with lake water to use as a live well. Once we gave the few fish away I dumped the remaining bait in th "live well" bait tank.
Check the picture to see how clean the water became over the week. The bait is very lively.
Can't say enough about the Vest tanks.
The water looks cloudy in the picture but it's clear as a bell
I'm impressed!
Looks like a REMUS BLUE MINNER DAY CAMP !
I agree Scooper Dude. Ron Vest's Super Bait Tank II is the best tank on the market. I have been guiding with one for 18 years with no problems. I am also the dealer in North Carolina for these tanks. Scooper Dude you might remember that my pontoon has a 50 gallon Super Bait Tank II. If anyone is interested I have some in stock at this time.
As I like to say, "You can mess with the rest, but in the end you'll go with a Vest!"
They are great bait tanks. Bought mine in 1998. Simple. Durable. Efficient. Something you can pass down to your grand kids!
Glad to hear some are available. For the longest time they have been back ordered.
Tight Lines!
Vest!!! The first one I had was bought in the 80's with just an agitator. I own three that I bought in the late 90's. One was the second or third 100gallon tank he built. I use them to this day. Only thing I changed was to put a dannco venturi on all of them. I also built caps to go over the filter box so the garbage doesn't get out.![]()
Reeldawg how does the garbage get out of the box? Maybe mine is newer and the box is taller. When the tank is full only about 3/4 ' of water is coming over the top of the pipe going into the filter box. Water in the "clean" side is only 1/2 way up the filter box.
I got the latest 5-6 years ago with the finger pull opener and the blue light on the inside for night fishing.
Ron told me he was behind for a while because the guys he hired didn't do the job correctly so he went back to building them all himself. Small shop limited output...great tanks
