Ray, I wouldn't mind trying to get down there some time. Maybe get Remus or John to go. Wylie is now pretty bad for getting a boat on the water. Unless you have a place on the river with a boat on the water or a way to put one in is about the only way to fish it. So it's likely we could make a trip down that way. Who knows!

OK guys, seems like we have a good bit of interest, even a side fishing trip in the making. Lets plan for Friday Sept 25 at 1 o'clock at Creekside Restaurant in Lexington. I was going to say 12 but if some of the guys are going to be on the water that morning, 1 will give them more time to get in. They are located at 711 East Main Street, which is also US Hwy 1 on the east side of Lexington. Here is a link to their website. They have a good choice of meals, sandwiches, salads and breakfast all day as well.

Sounds great Ray, Friday is usually fishing day, but I'm certain I would be able to make a lunch on occasion. I won't be at the first one as I will be at Edisto all next week.

Sounds good Tim. Edisto was one of our favorite places to go in the fall and winter when we had our camper. One Christmas when the kids were both at their in-laws for Christmas we spent the whole week camped right on the beachfront. Sadly that campsite and several more have been lost to erosion.
