    Default Boat Covers

In the past, when someone asked for recommendations for buying a boat cover, I have referred them to Boat Covers & Bimini Tops Custom Fit to your Boat or Pontoon
Well now I need a cover for my "new" boat and I found out something I wanted to pass along. When I typed in my boat make and model, it brings up several options depending on the material and color you want. They ranged from around $200 to $350. (ouch) At the bottom of the list was a closeout model for my boat for $75. According to the website these have cosmetic blemishes in them,(who cares?) but otherwise are fine.
So, I called and talked to a rep. to make sure it would fit my boat. She assured me it would, and said, "by the way, you are getting a deal on this because there are no blemishes in this cover. It is just some we had in stock that we are closing out, so it is exactly the same as the $224 model you saw in the chart".
The shipping is free so I only had to pay sales tax on the $75. They have 4 more of these in stock if any of you need a deal on a cover for a 16.5 foot jon boat. They have a lot of others overstock models too in various styles for bass boats and center console all at similar savings.
These folks are located in Chesnee, SC so we might could get them to be a site sponsor if someone asked them. (Ronnie or Butch??)
Still working through my shopping list for the new boat.

Sounds like a deal if it doesn't have any problems. Good luck Ray!

Talk about fast service. I ordered the cover Tuesday around 10AM and it was on my doorstep Wednesday at noon. Just over 24 hours, can't beat that. Now the real test is when I see if it will fit my boat.

Ray, was it made just for your boat or your series of style of boats.

Gerald, when you go to their website you put in your boat make and model and the correct size and style come up in a number of materials and colors. This one came up from the overstock list as a match. Keep in mind, with stick steering and no console it is really just a jon boat so it is more generic than the one I got for the Tracker. That cover that Steve got was specific to the boat and fit like a glove. I am picking my boat up in the morning so I will see how it fits. The material feels pretty decent and it has a 1 year warranty even though it was a clearance item.
    Grady,
What kind of motor are you waiting on??? Just saw an almost brand new Terrova I-Pilot 12 volt in the Ga. classifieds for $800. That is a deal.

A National Backorder, I emailed Minkota to ask why so long the response was the interest in the unit outreached their expectations. Ok, but 3 months? Gear up please.
It may be because they have an $80.00 cash back if ordered before June 1st.
The last arrival date I got was end of May, I'm not holding my breath.
