Just kidding. It is hard to know what you are eating these days if you did not catch it yourself. Even then it might have PCBs in it. They put red dye in farm raised salmon to make the meat red like wild caught, otherwise it is a sickly pale color no one would eat.
I have read that about the Tilapia and also some conflicting data saying other wise so who knows? I have never caught or eaten any of the Tilapia we put in the ponds.
I saw a Swai fish dish advertised on an outside sign at one of our better restaurants here in town and I had never heard of it so I googled it. Turn out they are raised commercially in southeast Asia in ponds where they are fed animal and human waste. Made me want to chow down on some right then.
Kind of understand why some people are vegetarians.
