Secret person couldn't make it this morning, I don't blame him for staying in the bed. Ofishl and I made it to the ramp at around 7 am for a good day of long lining. It started off fairly good on first run and it was a long one in fact. ofish put 2 good keepers in the well right off the bat and shortly later a couple more with a couple of thru backs. Wind was picking up on the return route and we were moving fast and no way to hit the brakes. Pick up a couple more before we moved to another cove. It didn't pay off as good as the first and wind was just to much. Moved again to seek shelter and bombed out there with just a couple. Clicker said 24. Kept 10 good crappies. We had several perch and I think we had 5 nice cats thrown back. Speed was a big factor because of the wind. A couple times we were sitting still with Jack rabbit on. All in all it was a good day to be out and with a good friend too! I think John may have a picture or 2.
