Great post. Like I thought, a lot more to it than just dragging jigs behind the boat. I usually use pretty bright colored jigs but as you said, this weekend the water was pretty clear and bright days and I switched to a black over white ripple shad with a white jig head and started catching some fish but could only get them on structure near the bank.
