    Default Mounting a Fish???

Anybody have any good recommendations on where to get a fish mounted around Columbia? Also, what's a ball park idea on the cost of getting one mounted these days? I've got one I put in the freezer that may possibly wind up on the wall. Our house will be finished in a few months and I'm thinking some wildlife on the walls would be real nice...So far the boss lady is on board with the idea

Call Keith Crout in west Columbia. He has done a crappie and a largemouth for me.

hey cb; how is it going bud? jd and i went once two mondays ago just to get the boat out. fished two hours from 3pm to 5. ended up with 8. one went two pounds. as far as mounting your fish. i would reccomend the guy up there on 378 just before you get to the county line. he did a great job on two of jeremy's 10 lbers. i used keith crout on jeremy's two 10 point texas deers and they came back not so good. one of the big tines on the largest was broken and missing and the other was just a piece of board with the horns. that has been a few years ago so hopefully he has honed his craft by now. hate to be negative but just telling it like it is. lot of money spent on the trip and lot of money on the mounts. i thinkt the name of the place is lake murray taxidermy
