Thread: Murray night stalk?

Anybody night stalk Murray this time of year? I got to thinking after Friday's debacle trying to weave around all the striper guy's long lining
And the fact my boat is not really setup for pushing........I thought maybe a little night fishing could turn up some results and be less stressful...........

Just curious if there has been any success or if it's not worth the trouble......

I've never tried it this time of year. Tried a few times in the summer time with not much luck! The thought has crossed my mind to try it at night as well, but I've been too cozy in my easy chair on these cold nights

Never night fished Murray but it works on all the lakes I have nightstalked on in the winter. Don't see any reason to not try it. Good luck and look forward to reading your report.

Be and sure and let us know what you do with them? I'm awful close to trying then myself. Maybe next week. My dad's boat is tied up to the dock so it'd be real easy to try them for a few hours...

Thanks for the encouragement ..................My lovely bride was not happy about me going by myself, But I talked to my son earlier he say's he will go with me rather than go out on the town......... sooo thats a win win for ol pops!

You know you have a open invite to come up here and fish with us anytime. There is usually an open seat if Remus or Scooperdude are going. You won't have to drag a boat to enjoy the night air, if you can put up with a few clowns like Ofishlbizzness and me. SeaRay comes up sometimes and joins in with us. But he is brave. I hope you do good on your trip. Post a report and some picture.

You can count on that as the given. But I know I would not indulge in that lowly routine to a new guest. Not hardly anyway!
