    Default no new tricks today

didn't do the famous Uncle Remus triple axle double flip single splash dive
or the bigdawgg top rail running head butt and uncles fib-u-latter didn't fib-u-late today
but we did catch a nice mess of fish at Wateree. it was sort of a sea-food platter
of white perch crappie bass yellow perch and cat fish just how many I don't know
but there was a lot of nice crappie in it and the cooler was not light.

Wish I could have joined you. Sounds like a great day. The weather the next few days looks a bit iffy. Hope to get back after them before too long.

Friend of mine came by and showed me a picture of 10 nice crappie over 10" he caught at Murray yesterday. He threw back a bunch under 10". All on brush near the river channel on minnows.
He uses the solunar charts to pick the best times. Yesterday he said the chart showed from 11 to 1:30. He had one fish at 10, then moved to another spot around 11 and 3 rods went down. Caught most all in that window, then he said it died again before 2.
Any of y'all go by those charts???

Ray I go by my time off chart, when I'm off I try to get on the water, and hope for the best. Joking aside I watch the moon and the bar. pressure.

sometime I think the fish have a chart that tells them what time of day the fishermen are on the water so they can keep they mouth shut

I also wish I could go with you sometime to Wateree. I haven't been down there in a long time. You got some nice fish there. Hope we get a day trip up here on Wylie soon. I don't use the chart because it never fits into my days off it seems. I do watch for moon phases.
