Got back out on Big Allison this morning. Finally located some perch in about 35'. They were biting minnows & silver spoons about equal today. Caught about 50 but only a few were of any size. Bite seemed to cut off about 11 today.

Fish tremble at the sound of my name
Charles,
By chance was it overcast until about 11?? I've found they bite like crazy when it is cloudy and overcast and stop dead still when the sun breaks through. Never could figure why that mattered in 30+ FOW, but it seems to.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
The sky was clear all morning. Normally, we catch most of our perch from about daylight till about 10 then the bite shuts down. I don't get out on the water in the evening vey often. A couple of years ago, when we used to catch a lot of good size perch, we seemed to do better on the bright days. We almost always catch more on minnows than spoons but Monday was an exception.
