Hey folks, my family and I are heading to Spartanburg area from Christmas to New years this year and some of us want to get in some fishing while we are there. We will actually be staying just inside of NC off of I-26. I saw this lake as a potential home base for fishing as it was relatively close. Can anyone provide some intel on this lake. I spoke to the Warden Office and got the general info but I was looking for as much detailed info as possible. We would like to catch enough to have a fish fry while we are there. If this lake is not a good fit please let me know that as well. We are willing to travel to productive waters if that increases our odds of catching. Where as crappie would be the desired species, perch, bream, white bass, hybrids, and/or stripers are all on the table. Feel free to PM me if you would like.
