    Next time you have a bluebird day try something, a little out of the thinking of most. Try fishing the same water but fish shallower all the way up to 2 foot, and away from the boat more just my 2 cents.

    Rooty, do you mean like what you would do during the spawn....like a jig under a cork? Or working some particular kind of structure at that depth longpoling? Just curious as to what you are getting at.

    Robdogg I mean if you are trolling, fish with smaller baits and shallower in the water column. If you are titelineing just get away from the boat more and shallower in the water column. It seems that sometimes the fish come up for what ever reason on those bluebird days. Just look at your depth finders on days like that, you will see bait but very little fish just try this you will see what i'm talking about.
