Usually our moderators. Ronnie and Butch, put it together. However it takes a lot of help from the membership to get everything together. They can't do it by themselves. Sometimes we have a Fallfest around November. One of them will let us know if one if planned or if we will only have the one in the spring. I'm sure one of them will post on here so you can ask them any questions you may have.
Also, anytime a member wants to set up a meet and greet they can do that on their own. We've had a few that the guys at Wylie set up this year.

For the spring Crappiefest Ronnie, myself, and Fisher-O-Men get together and set a date and get an agenda up. Then we post it on the board and that's where we have sign-ups for who will bring what as far as the food is concerned. We rent a shelter at the state park on the Ga. side of Lake Russell and have it there. We have had a couple of Fall 'fests on Clark hill Lake but our main event is the spring Crappiefest, and that's usually late March. If you have any questions in particular that you'd like to ask just fire away.

Turk, anybody can get up a get together. All Ronnie and I have asked in the past is that the name of anyone else's event NOT be called "Crappiefest" as we reserve that name for the event held each spring on Lake Russell. And please try to not have it scheduled on the same day we schedule Spring Crappiefest. I think ALOT of people would enjoy a spring fling on the hill, including myself, so get some guys together to get one up and if I aint working that weekend I'll be sure to be there.

Been away for the weekend but like Butch has said we really try to have a good Spring event. I haven't put much thought into a fall event this year because the board has been so slow but would support having one on Greenwood again this fall (at another shelter) if there is enough interest in having one. Anyone that is a Crappie.com member can put one of these events together but be ready to put the time into it to make it work and, to be held to the standards of what Crappie.com stands for.

Now to the question that was asked, how can we help you smoothlures.

Ronnie and Butch, I think yall do a great job with the slab fest and I would never try to do any thing to take away from the spring tourney. Keep up the great work . I will be thinking about what we can do for a get together on the hill. Maybe a may BRUSHPILE tourney LOL

The hardest part is gettin the weather and the fish to act right. You get one going and I will show if at all possible. But as said be ready to put in the effort and keep it up to CDC standards.
