    Default Two good days

Fishing report Bad Bob style! Tommy and I fished Santee both Thursday and Friday jigging brush in depths from 6 to 20 feet of water. We used Rooty Tooty 309's in a variety of color patterns. The fish weren't super aggressive, but would smack the baits if left in their face long enough. Two limits were caught each day, with a mix of quality and keeper fish in the bag. Water temps are warming at 78 in the morning, to 86 my mid afternoon.

Thanks for the report Tim, sounds like y'all are staying on em in the brush. The water temps are warming fast with the sun staying out longer each day. Congrats on the two days.

Good job Tim and Tommy. Glad to hear they are still biting. My GKs are here, so I may bring one down for a day if they want to come. Too much to do in one short week. Your new Grandbaby doing OK Tim?

Ya'll had fun. For some reason I can't get em to bite Rooty Tooty's on our trash piles on Lake Greenwood. They same. to like small jigs with out many feathers. I guess bait fish are smaller on Greenwood than Santee? Fish bigger on Santee.

I use to fish docks on Wylie years ago, those fish also seemed to prefer the smaller baits. I think your right, size of bait they are accustomed to probably reflects what size jig works best.

Another fine report for yall Ink, congrats on the great days of fishing. Can't beat some great one pole brush action. Bob did try some Rooty Tooty 309 jigs on Saturday after reading y'all's reports on here but the fish wanted a smaller jig on Saturday.
