Default Another Great Day With My Buddy

We decided not to go on the perch venture this morning. After cleaning fish yesterday and cutting bamboo for some new piles I just did not fill up to having to go get minnows and fix the bait tank to hold them overnight. Roundtrip for me to get minnows is about 15 miles. Here in Lincoln co. we are called the fresh water coast because we have so many miles of Hill shore line but the town off Lincolnton does not have a store that sells minnows. So in the end it worked out for the best because we killed the crappie. Don't know how many total we caught but we kept 30 of the best ones. Everything was the same as yesterday as far water depth and jig colors.

Looks like you guys are surely "bonding" on the water catching all those fish. Congrats to both you guys and thanks for sharing those pictures and the report. BTW, I think I'd only fish for the perch using minners when the crappie wont hit a jig.................and for me that's very, very seldom!!

Another fine day, with a fine looking fishing partner. Congrats to the two of you for putting a whoop'n on them.
