I have my regular rods in racks on the side wall of my garage but my long crappie poles I've been standing in the corner. I worried about one of then falling over and me running over it so I came up with a cheap and dirty way to store them safely. I bought U-bolts sized to the handles and J-hooks for the shaft support and mounted them on the garage door. I dipped the J-hooks in plastic dip like you use to insulate plier or tool handles to protect from rubbing as the door goes up and down. the tips kind of waved around a bit when the door was going up and down so I put some smaller stick on hooks near the end to stabilize them.
