Default Need Help with Replacing Batteries on Tracker Boat

We have a 2011 Bass Tracker Pro Team 175. We need to replace the batteries and it seems impossible to remove the batteries from the compartment. They simply are in the compartment so tight, there is no easy way to remove them.

Anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? If you can help, please call my husband (Steve) at 864-640-1429. We would really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

I have an 04 PT 175, and I have changed out the batteries a couple times since buying it new. I have a cranking batt and a TM batt in the rear center compartment, adjacent to the gas tank. While it's all a tight fit, I can remove both w/o much trouble, but the OEM layout has the TM battery in the back (closest to the live well) running front to back, while the cranking battery is closest to the transom/motor and runs the width of the boat. I have to remove the cranking battery to replace the TM battery when needed.

How many batteries are in your storage area and how are they arranged? A picture is worth a thousand words so to speak.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

The batteries are the ones that came with the boat new. Here is the layout. Just can't get either one of them out. The trolling motor battery is the one nearest the back of the boat. The gas tank is to the right of the batteries. It's an extremely tight fit.Name: Batt.jpg

if you are able to turn the battery that is showing only half of it to be parallel with the other then maybe you have the room to lift one at a time out. just a thought.

I agree with cool breeze. If that fails, I have a crowbar and saw will travel.

Well, after a couple more hours of moving and maneuvering and sliding and fussing and more maneuvering, the batteries are finally out and have been replaced with new ones. Not sure who designed this model but I'm not sure they ever fished much. There are several design flaws with this model of Tracker. Thanks for all of the suggestions. Now back to the crappie .....
