Default Lake Murray has been good this month.

I have returned to lake Murray after 20 years or so and one of the places my Dad brought me when I was a kid. Been here since the first of March now. The quality of fish here great. Caught a lot of 2 pound fish and a couple of huge slabs. Released 95% but kept a few for lunch and supper. I have been spider riggin and long lining with the better catch come from way behind the boat. Fishing 25 to 35 for pulling 32th and 16th jigs. Dark colors worked best today was cloudy. Water is 54 degrees. I am pushing double hooks with minnows out front with 2 ounce lead at .8 to 1 mph. Don't know how to post pics from a phone and US Cellular don't work well here.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Good report from Murray, I haven't fished there since my college days at USC. I need to head down that way.

Well I had to laugh because I live in Lexington and I've been driving up to Wylie to fish. Maybe we need to trade houses.
