Thread: The spawn on Lake Marion

Thinking about heading down to Marion this weekend just wondering if the crappie have already gone shallow or they still staged up waiting on the full moon. Trying to plan out and prepare for the trip. Fishing the Wyboo and Potato Creek area. Any info is helpful. Thanks

A few fish are being caught shallow, but the majority are still holding back in the deeper depths of the creek channels and flats. Focus in the 10 to 20 foot ranges either long or tight lining. These techniques allow you to cover the most water and should be best.
