I'm not trying to step on any toes here, but would like to throw this out there for some consideration. Most of these get together's are dependent on folks generosity for prize donations. The guys that tie/make jigs are probably the most generous of all. Most that donate prizes are also member sponsors. If the fishermen/members here do not support the ones tying or making the jigs by making purchases on occasions, the prize donations will eventually dry up. If your in need of any type of fish catching supplies or baits, check out the member/sponsor ads first, if they can't meet your needs, then go ahead and head to the big box store. Keep the small business man going, our country was built on this principle.
