Got tired of having to go buy minnows every time we went fishing. Now we buy them by the pound and keep them until we need to buy more. Made out of 1/8" stainless steel with a drain on the bottom to hook up hose to change water without having to move. Made from scrap metal laying around the shop. Should hold around 50 gallons of water and about 3lbs of minnows with ease.

One rod, one jig, one fish at a time.
Nice looking tank. Some nice scrap around the shop
Very nice.
You'll need a nice cool place during the summer months. That's a difficult time of year to keep minnows.
pretty cool
good looking tank. how did you fix it to keep the circulating pump from sucking the minnows in it == I have tried couple different things but they didn't work
Fish tremble at the sound of my name
I made a wire cage around the bottom of the circulation pump. It's made out of a screen mesh used in making screen doors. It's a 4"x 4" box shape. Seems to be working pretty good so far. Used the same material to cover the drain on the bottom to keep from sucking minnows out while changing water. It lets the waste drain, but not the minnows.
We have city water at my house which means chlorine, a death sentence for minnows. Have any of you had any success letting chlorine treated water sit for a period of time and become safe for a minnow bucket? If so how long?
I could keep about a pound going if I had a decent water supply.
