Thread: i promised a kitty report

i fished a cat tournament on fishing creek saturday morning. the bite for me was good from 7 am till about 9 am (i know that is only 2hrs lol). we boated 4 fish . (three fish tournament) our fish were deep but we were after size not numbers. the mid to shallow bite was great all day for other teams. some teams caught 20+ fish but all cookie cutter blues in the 10lb range .
at days end we had the same three fish from the morning with 29 biggest and a total weight of 53lb. (3 fish live weigh-in) didn't think we had a chance in hell
but at that lake you never know. the top 6 teams were within 5lb of each other. me an my son-in-law pulled off a narrow victory. here are a few pics from the weigh-in
