P.E.T. gettin' er done!
Yesterday we were going to head up to the little Saluda to try and catch our first Crappie for the year but the winds seemed a bit to devilish for our liking, so we went with old faithful the white perch. Once again we found ourselves anchored in Stinking Creek (off of Bear Creek) and commenced to doing our part to eradicate the invasive species. We ended up with about 80 or so fish all caught on minnows, couldn't buy a bite on a jigging spoon. We also introduced Skeeter the perch pointer, a rare little heard of breed, to the team. Skeeter did very well and found the fish for us with very little effort, all in all it was a very good day. The first picture is of Skeeter in action and the second is the results of the day.
You can't catch fish from the couch.
