Default P.E.T. still in full effect

Yes the Lake Murray Perch Eradication Team is still up and running. We tried to find some crappie in the mid-lake area but were met with pretty stout winds and heavily stained waters. Strike one on the Crappie. Had to back up to third base and punt and went to the usual white perch grounds to try and salvage the day. We found the perch in 35' of water (stained) and proceeded to catch them from 4:30 until dark. Once again they were preferring minnows on a dropper loop rig right on the bottom and we did catch some on silver jigging spoons. All in all not a bad day, ended up with 44 in the livewell and had some tension on our poles. Now it looks like we are going to have to batten down the hatches and see is the lake freezes, may go ice fishing. I sure wish this weather would give us a break.

The best looking perch pics I've seen are the ones of those pesky critters floating belly side up in y'alls live well. Keep up the good work team, don't stop until every white perch that has eaten a minnow, jig, spoon, spinner, worm, cricket, or fish egg has been eradicated!

Nice catch. Those perch have saved many trips from the skunk. Like the team name. Maybe we could start a team up here on Wylie. Call it All W.E.T. Wylie Eradication Team.
