    The dual consoles are a blessing and a curse. When you are ripping across the lake on a cold day, your partner will like hiding behind the console, but like Ink said hard to find a place to lay the rods. That us a nice looking rig and I know you will enjoy it. One of my buddies, Jeff, has a Stratos with dual consoles and I really like the layout. Have fun rigging it out.

    I had a 285 Stratos Pro Elite with a 150 FastStike and is was just fine.....except for gas mileage. I used to chase those fish that some refer to as green carp and I did pretty good job of doing it. That kind of fishing just gets too expensive, I put in at Shull and drove to Camp Barstow and back and burned 3/4 of a tank out of a 41 gallon tank. $$$$$$$$.

    Now I share a 1850 Duracraft bay center console with my wife it has a 50 four stroke and the gas mileage is totally awesome. If I can convince her to allow me to buy another boat it will be a aluminum Ranger with a 70 Yamaha four stroke or some thing very similar, maybe even a Bass Tracker with a four stroke.

    One thing about the dual console is that it will keep a passenger warmer, drier and safer during a haul. Mine was a single and it scared the pee pee out of some of my passengers.

    Nice boat! If I am going to have a dual console, I want a windshell. If not I like the single console for room.
