    Default Christmas Stripers

Been after the stripers some the past couple of weeks. Took my pastor out on Hartwell today. Only caught one fish, but it was a goodern, weighed in at 30 lbs 2 oz. Second pic is from last week that went just over 25 lbs. Again on Hartwell. Thankfully looks like the summer fish kill didn't get all the larger fish. Third pic is of my sons 19 lb fish we got at Clarks Hill last week. Water temps are about 50 deg or so middle of the creeks. Big fish time...all these were returned after pics to hopefully grow bigger.

Congrats on some real nice fish. Were they caught from freelines, downlines, or behind planers?

Two biggest hit dollar bill sized gizzard shad behind boards, other one hit a free lined herring.
