    Default Spoon Storage bottle

Several folks commented on using spoons for perch and other species so I thought I would share my method of storing them so the don't tangle. As anyone who has dropped several into a tray knows, they can weave themselves into a mess and are a pain to separate. Here is how I store mine.

I take a pill box and cut notches in the top and along the lip so they fit into the notch and bottom out at the bottom of the threaded part. Place the spoons into the slots and screw the lid down. Then you can lay them in your tackle box without tangling. You my want to wrap a layer of foam tape along the outside edge for the tips of the hooks to stick into so you don't knick yourself on them.

If we got some folks that are fortunate enough to not take prescription meds, we have plenty to share. I am fortunate that I don't take any prescription medicine, but my wife does so we got plenty to spare. They accumulate over a year or two and we don't throw anything away, it seems.
