    Default Bait Tank

Have any of you heard of a bait tank called the Bait Jacuzzi? Do any of you own one of these bait tanks? Supposedly, these tanks are manufactured by Concept Plastics in Toccoa, GA. Please let me know if these tanks are ligit.

I do not have one but checked it out on the Internet and it seems to be legit. Has some great reviews performance for the price wise. Sounds very interesting.

I think I saw one of these tanks Monday at Lake Hartwell Fishing and Marine at Portman Shoals. Round, roto molded. Pump sits in with the bait. The one I saw was in the $350-400 range. Looked to be about 20 gal. Not a bad looking tank. May be a good tank for boats with limited floor space, it did have a small footprint. However, I have used all kinds of bait tanks: vest, master flow, gray line, home made, etc. My preference is still the Vest (ie, Super Bait Tank). The 30 gal vest I bought in 1998 is still going strong and has outlasted several boats. The Vest tanks are also made locally in Easley.

That tank seems to be a decent looking tank. I have a tank like that I use when I'm "not" striper fishing. I've used all the tanks and the Ron vest tanks are the best in my opinion. If I a m striper fishing in my 16' boat I have a creek bank 30 gal that I use. It has a smaller footprint than the vest 30 but doesn't keep the bait as well. Sometimes there is a trade off. If you have the space and money go with the vest tank. If u are short on space and don't mind spending $350 for a tank find a creek bank. If ur short on space and cash get the other tank. Vest tank you can past down to the kids.

Love my Vest tank, if you are crappie fishing with real small minnows you will need a screen over the water intake or they will wind up in the filter. One trip we had some crappie minnows with the shiners and I found them in the filter.
Creek Bank went out of business I would guess the were too much like the Vest tank

Not sure, but I put 8 dozen in a 18 pack cooler 4 days ago with some of the blue bait alive and have lost only 3 minnows, but its been cold. Hot weather splits the men from the boys.
