You would have to know the body of water youre trolling in VERY WELL if you attempt to troll at night. It's going to be tough enough seeing ANYTHING off the bow after lighting up the back of the boat to see your rods. Would the fish bite?!? I'd think so. You might have to pull 1/32nds or 1/64ths right at the top of the water as I'd think the crappie would be feeding up on the shad on top of the water. Never tried it though. I dont wanna be bouncing off bouys or anything. Besides, why loose sleep and fish at night when you can catch 'em during the daytime.
