I have a question about a couple numbers on my fish hinder. I have a Humminbird PiranhaMAX 220. It is a duel beam. In the Upper right corner it displays my Upperrange and in the bottom right corner it displays my lowe range. What do those nummers mean? At the left in large numbers it shows teh temp and the depth, so I am not sure what those numbers are for and how I am suppose to use them.

you can set the upper and lower limits you want the unit to display. the upper number would be how deep it is before the unit begins showing what its seeing. the lower number will be the depth it records to before it quits showing what its recording. if im fishing where the water averages 35 or 40 ft, i will set the lower number on 50 and the upper number at the depth i want it to start recording. i usually set mine at 5 ft, to cut down on the surface clutter. if you put the unit on auto, the upper number will be 0, the surface and the lower number will be the bottom depth. i seldom run my unit on auto
