I swear sometimes that I spend more time playing with this thing than I do fishing. Haha. I keep the sharpness off and I adjust the sensitivity and contrast. I watched a YouTube video and a guy was saying he would adjust his sensitivity to get enough detail, but not so high that the bottom is too bright. Then he would adjust the contrast anywhere from 2 below to 2 above the sensitivity setting. That particular day is the way I had it adjusted. I also try different chart speeds. Setting it slightly higher than your travel speed sometimes helps. With this image, I was only going about 1-2 mph and I believe my chart speed was set 2-3.
