    Eagle,

    I took this photo for you. The original know which went came with my Garmin 1022 has 13/16 in. of exposed thread. The RAM knob had 5/8 in of exposed thread after inserted into the locking knob. The Ram fit nicely into the 1022 and secured it perfectly. Also the knobs come with one knob, multiple threaded studs for different Ff Manufacturers and the “key”

    I replaced the original with the RAM KNOB.

    I was able to swap the knobs off a striker plus unit and make them work . not Ideal but will work till unit hits floor . AT some point I will go back to Hummingbird .
