    Default Lost a Lowrance 520 unit


    My Lowrance 520 unit went outlast month. Lowrance says no repairs. Any suggestions? Not ready for Livescope.

    My suggestion since you are used to the smaller screen would be Helix7 for lakemaster charts if it covers lakes you fish. If your a Lowrance guy HDS7 or one close to it. Now if price is not a real deterrent then I would look at the 9 in screen size units.

    I 2nd the Helix 7.. also have the Lowrance HDS 7 and like it a lot.

    There are used ones on eBay (around $160)

    OR you might check with Brian@BBGmarine and see if he has one or an alternative that fits your budget.

    I have bought used stuff from Cabelas and from Lowrance. Comes with some warranty too.
