Bamboo

This was given to me yesterday and I took it knowing that someone would get some enjoyment out of it. Probably as old as me and in need of a refinish, I see no signs of separation or other structural issues other than the obvious broken grip and missing reel seat. Ferrules are all good and I didn’t force them together, which ruins them from ever working right again. It was in a garage for many years. This is a fun project for those that have the love of bamboo rods, and it is also a blank slate for how it would be brought back to life. The three tip sections look to be of different weights, common for the time period. Pay for the shipping and I’ll send it to you, but I ask that you revive it and not capitalize on it.
