I've got a set of the 14 bass pro tightline specials. Action seems to be good in them for weights I use rigging. How do the bgjp compare? I'm looking to get some 16s in some make an model.

I've fished with BGJPs up to 3/4oz and they handle em fine. Could probably even get away with 1oz

Those tightline specials are TANKS. Purchased two PST's to round out my 8 because the dog broke other rods. I like the tightline specials, but the PST's are quite a bit lighter and more sensitive for pushing minnows or cranks.
