I'm just going to give my opinion and how I would find out. I paid about the same for my riptide a few years back. Regardless of how old it is, it is used. That takes about 20 or 25% right there. I wouldn't pay that for one sight unseen but that's a starting point. My thought is that if you could get between 6 and 7 hundred for it you would be doing about as good as one could hope for. Mine is a PD-V2 with auto pilot and wish I had a Terrova. Knowing the hit I will take is keeping me right where I am til I have to replace and then I'll bite the bullet.
