I think what he's saying is .... he's selling the used 998 and the tdx & mounting bracket off the 1199, because he's already got the 998 tdx mounted on his boat and doesn't want to remove it. That's the way I took it, anyway. If the power/tdx cords are not interchangeable between the two units, then I don't know what he meant to say.
