WTB War Eagle Tie Downs / Cleats

[Bluesraider]

I am looking for two tie downs that fit the War Eagle t-rail. Either style will be fine. Anyone have two laying around that they want to part with cheap??? Thanks,

Believe I saw some for sale by Macks Praire Wings.. Might check them out.

If you can't find any, you can go to Walmart and pick up a couple of cleats and drill them out for 1/4 inch bolts, the take some 1/4 carriage bolts and grind the edges so they will fit in the T-rail. You can also use green house bolts. They will fit the t-rail also. I've done this on my Excel and it works great. I was hoping I had a picture, but I can't find one.

Man...thanks RCC!!! Never in a million years would I have thought about something that simple!! Just looked and they have cleats as cheap as $2!!! Sure beats $25 each from War Eagle!! Just looked at your boat project and that is very impressive. I may shoot you a PM about your rod transport rack. Looks like something I have been trying to find for a while now.
