We have several people that can legally sell them. Check the "Sponsor's Classified Ads".

I believe that the difference is in the use of the name, which is owned by Blakemore. We use them as a generic name but the mold is known as a ponyhead or horsehead depending on the size. Yes they can be made and sold but not as roadrunners. Just my two cents. And the paint the pony's and horseheads are getting is mostly powder paint and stays on great til you start bouncing them off of bridges or docks or whatever. All the suppliers spoken of do real good work.

I am ok when paint comes off jigs because of bridges and rocks but I am not ok with the paint coming off sitting in my tackle box. I ordered some off EBAY last spring and they left many paint chips in the tackle tray.

Skeet, you might want to check the thread from the forum that you moderate. Poney heads and horse heads It does not matter if you call them "purple people eaters" if you sell a horsehead and Blakemore is tipped off about it you will receive a nasty little letter explaining why you have sold your last "purple people eaters".

Not sure if it's a good deal or what but I found 12pk Road Runners at Walmart for $6.95. Bought me a few to tie and put plastics on.

Think you are wrong skeet......Blakemore has a registered trademark on the shape of the head . Trademarks differ from patents as they do not expire.
