No, I didn't make any of the net holders. It was always getting in my way since I never used it. While fishing with the umb I have a place for my net, so I like using that all the time.
By removing it from the top of the pedestal which let the seat base come directly in contact with it and attaching it directly to the pedestal, eliminated the need for the bottom rotation inhibiting pad. This years model lets you put it at any height on the pedestal where last year it was confined to either the top or bottom. It has passed all my test..
