I just got the bad news that my 150 mercury has a bad piston. Rebuild is $6000. Any good used motors out there?

I have a 1988 XP150. Runs good, good compression, needs seals in lower unit, but you can run as is. Comes with controls, oil tank, and 2 stainless props. Motor is in central Missouri, $800. PM if interested.

Thanks Rees for the motor and Speck for the delivery to Cape! All you fellers I have met on this site are 1st class. Hope to get the motor swapped so I can get out by Memorial day weekend (With all the crazies I know) Missed alot of the spring this year with the cold weather and motor problem, got some catchin up to do!
